Rain Washes Out ‘Topes and ‘Hawks

Rain continued to wreak havoc on the Isotopes and the RedHawks, as one day after their series opener was delayed nearly two hours, their second game of the series was washed out completely.  The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on May 30 during Albuquerque’s next visit to Oklahoma.

The rainout will give right-hander Charlie Haeger an extra day of rest since the Isotopes have moved back their entire rotation.   That means the pitching matchups for the rest of the series will be:

Tomorrow:  RHP Charlie Haeger vs. LHP Michael Ballard
Thursday:  LHP Eric Milton vs. RHP Tommy Hunter

Any information on Milton’s fastball, speed, movement these days.

Any information on Milton regarding his fastball; Speed, movement, location? Just curious if he is trying to rebuild himself as a crafty lefty or he got some of his old Twin hop back.
